Mimi Fox is a virtuosic improviser who has collaborated with many of jazz’s greatest figures, securing her place in the jazz guitar pantheon. Internationally renowned as a performer, composer, and recording artist, she has been recognized in multiple DownBeat Magazine International Critics Polls. Celebrated by writers and colleagues alike as one of today’s most eloquent guitarists, Fox has performed and recorded with GRAMMY winners Branford Marsalis, Diana Krall, Stevie Wonder, Joey DeFrancesco, and Terri Lyne Carrington. She has also been a featured soloist with numerous orchestras, most recently the Michigan Philharmonic. Her touring career spans the globe, with performances at top venues in Japan, Thailand, Europe, and Australia, as well as major festivals including the Montreal Jazz Festival, Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, Perth International Jazz Festival, and Jamaica Spice Jazz Festival.
