Oakland native Michael Louis Aaberg is a producer, musician, and educator. He currently serves as R&B singer-songwriter Goapele’s music director, and is the producer behind her album Closer. Michael is featured on Derrick Hodge’s The Color of Noize and Ambrose Akinmusire’s Origami Harvest, and has performed and recorded with Lalah Hathaway. He is the founder of Tiger’s Eye Music, and his albums Slept On, Shapes and Shades, and Slept In are available on Bandcamp. He resides in the Bay Area with his wife and daughter.
