One of the Bay Area’s premier jazz vocalists, Frankye Kelly is known for her classical interpretation of jazz standards and haunting way with down home blues. Ms. Kelly has performed throughout the U.S. and internationally. Expect selections from her four self-produced released CDs (“The Night Is Young,” “My Life More Than It Is, Not Just The Blues,” “Live At Yoshi’s: Frankye Kelly Sings Songs For My Father” and “Frankye Kelly Sings A Tribute To Shirley Horn”) and other popular jazz and blues standards. Ms. Kelly’s fifth CD, “Swinging Blue” (LifeForce Jazz) will be released in early 2013.
