Who is Fay Victor? 
Vocalist, lyricist, composer and educator Fay Victor has been hailed by the New York Times as “artistically complete” for her unique vocal approach to the blues, jazz, free improvisation and her own original material. Starting from the jazz tradition, Victor has gone on to encompass a multi-genre approach to music, lyrics and song called “freesong.” Victor has released seven critically acclaimed recordings as a leader. In addition to an international performing career (performances throughout Europe as well as Japan, India, Russia, Mexico and more), Ms. Victor has been teaching voice for over 13 years to groups and private students, hosted workshops on the vocal confidence and connection, most recently leading the Master Class in Rostov-on-Don, Russia for 40 Jazz Vocal instructors as well as the Jazz Vocal 4-Day Summit at the New York Jazz Workshop for the 3rd year in a row.  Students have called Fay’s teaching “inspiring” “uplifting” ‘thought provocative” and “a clear vision to open new vistas while sounding like oneself.” Learn more at www.fayvictor.com
