Week three of the ConnectedVoice workshop covers essential skills singers need to create unique interpretations of jazz standards and other repertoire.

Workshop activities include:

• physicalizing rhythm and groove
• understanding/hearing 7th chords: how they sound and move
• ear training (for accuracy in melodic exploration)

We also explore phrasing and basic arranging concepts applied to standard jazz tunes.

Week three is open to all, whether you have been part of ConnectedVoice workshops in the past or not!
