Transfer Credit

Students who wish to transfer to the Jazzschool Institute must provide an official  satisfactory academic record and have earned an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher to be admitted to the Jazzschool Institute.

The Jazzschool Institute grants course credit to transfer students for the English Communica- tion, Arts and Humanities and Mathematics and Quantitative Reasoning General Studies require- ments earned at any fully accredited institution. The Social Sciences General Studies require- ment (HIS100A-HIS200B Jazz History) and Physical Sciences General Studies requirement (SCI300) are not transferable from any other in- stitution. These requirements must be fulfilled at the Jazzschool Institute.

The Jazzschool Institute accepts up to 5 Elective credits relevant to the program’s purposes from any fully accredited institution.

The Jazzschool Institute has not entered into an official articulation or transfer agreement with any other college or university at this time.
