The Jazzschool Institute shall pay a refund to the student in the amount calculated under the refund policy specified in this section. The Jazzschool Institute will make the proper refund not later than thirty (30) days after the student’s written request for cancellation or withdrawal is received by the Administrator. The following refund policy applies:
- Cancellation must be received in writing by the administrator in person, by certified mail, or electronic mail. Cancellation can also occur by termination.
- The student is entitled to a full refund of monies paid with the exception of the Application Fee if the school does not accept the applicant; and the Enrollment Deposit if the student cancels within three (3) business days after signing the Enrollment Agreement and making initial payment.
- Termination Date: In calculating the refund due to a student, that last date of actual atten- dance by the student is used in the calculation unless earlier written notice is received.
- If the student has received federal student financial aid funds, the student is entitled to a refund of monies not paid from federal stu- dent financial aid program funds.
