Students wishing to add, drop or withdraw from a course must do so in writing. Add/Drop/ Withdraw forms are available from the Registrar in the Main Office. Students may add, drop or withdraw from a course as follows:
Weeks 1 and 2: Students may add or drop courses without academic penalty. Please note: No new courses may be added after week two.
Weeks 3 and 4: Students may drop courses without academic penalty.
Weeks 5 and 6: Students may drop courses and receive a “W” on their transcript.
Weeks 7 and 8: Students may drop courses with the consent of the instructor and Dean of Instruction and receive a “WP” (Withdrew Passing) or “WF” (Withdrew Failing) on their transcript.
After week eight, students will be permitted to withdraw from courses without academic penalty for medical or family emergencies only. Students are required to provide the Registrar with valid documentation for all medical or family emergencies.
